Go to your local paint store to learn about the different types of paint. If you live in a newer home in Johnson county, your house is probably painted in a flat paint. Many homeowners that I have talked with do not like the flat paint because it is tough to clean. The reason that flat paint is so common is because a flat paint will hide most flaws commonly found when painting over new drywall.
